The TGA701 model is manufactured by LECO Corporation, and is a thermogravimetric analyzer that is utilized to determine material weight loss as a function of temperature in controlled environment. It is intended for reduction of workloads and cost-per analysis in routine production, process, and quality control laboratories.

The unit is highly reliable, stable, accurate and precise, which provides expanded functionality and automation. It has enhanced functionality with selectable oven atmospheres like in N2, O2, or air. It has flexible standard or customized method programming, which complies with AOAC, AACC, ASTM D5142, ISO standard methodology.

There is a precise temperature control up to 1000°C, and has programmable set points and ramping to 15°C/min. The unit has patented technique that accurately predicts temperature inside the crucible.
